Growing up, your birthday party was probably a few friends from your neighborhood, or a few (ok maybe all) of the kids from your class. You probably had your party at home, with the usual pin the tail on the donkey, freeze dance, maybe a pass the parcel. Followed by lunch and cake, opening of the presents.
Then everyone just went and played until their parents picked them up!
Does this sound familiar?
Or maybe!
You were of the generation that parents rented the local pool or bowling alley for the party. Those parents didn't either have the time or energy required to plan a party. It was easy, rent a space no need for any games, or prizes. Bring in some pizza, have cake open presents, everyone goes home, and your parents house did not require extensive after party clean up! Win/Win.
In reality that was the beginning of the Experience party!
